Dr. Prem Singh, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Prem Singh is a fellowship-trained, board-certified cardiologist. After earning his medical degree from Patna Medical College in India, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2004.
Specializing in cardiology, Dr. Singh pursued a research fellowship in the Department of Cardiology at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts, followed by fellowships in clinical cardiology and interventional cardiology at the Lahey Clinic in 2008 and 2009. He is one of only a handful of cardiologists in the country to earn seven board certifications.
Dr. Singh is on staff at Munroe Regional Medical Center and Ocala Regional Medical Center, where he also served as the director of cardiac rehab.
Dr. Singh has had his research published in numerous prestigious journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, American Heart Journal, Diabetes Care, Journal of the Peripheral Nervous System, American Journal of Cardiology, and International Journal of Cardiology.
