Dr. Jigar Patel, MD
Dr. Jigar Patel is a fellowship-trained, board-certified Interventional Cardiologist. He graduated cum laude with a BS in microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida in Gainesville and received his medical degree in 2006 from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Georgetown, Cayman Islands, BWI. After medical school, Dr. Patel completed his internship and residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease, at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. During this time, Dr. Patel also worked as a hospitalist at Normal Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. He then completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 2014. Dr. Patel has research published in numerous journals including Clinical Cardiology, American Journal of Cardiology, and the Journal of Interventional Cardiology.
